Do you want to explore the intersections of struggles for justice? Do you want to work for real and lasting change instead of always reacting to crises? Do you want to meet people from different backgrounds who share those desires and build power for change together? Do you want to learn how to use popular education to organize in your own community? Then this workshop may be for you!
This weekend workshop brings together diverse people who face injustice in their own communities. Using an interactive, popular education process participants will build a shared political analysis, by connecting their personal stories, family histories and lived experiences to resistance movements that have changed the world.
Participants go forth from the weekend with new insights, tools and connections to aid in their process of breaking the barriers imposed by an economic system that thrives on keeping us divided and building power together to fight for and achieve justice for our families and communities.
We work hard to make this workshop accessible to all. Spanish/english interpretation will be provided throughout the weekend as will childcare. If interpretation is required for other languages we will do our best to accommodate. All meals and lodging are included and transportation assistance may be available.
This is one of our most popular workshops and space is very limited. Look for the registration page here within a few days.
